Applying the squishy fireplace edging to babyproof the little ledge that is conveniently at the boy's head-height when he is crawling. I look over and Connor is on his stomach, army crawling his way towards a derailed portion of the animal train ( Read more... )

Because the boy is slowly figuring out how to crawl. He can't go very far, only a push or two at a time, but forward movement is definitely upon us. And with each little push, I can see my little boy growing up (and see myself getting a little bit older!)

trying to get the boy off to sleep last night. This normally isn't my job as it's the fella's snuggle-up-with-son time. But since he was in the basement with my dad trying to sort out the mysterious sump pump that was running despite being bone dry, I got to do the final feed and swaddle for the night.
